What is the Volunteer of the Year Award?
CMI’s volunteers on the regional boards, hubs and committees, are central to our mission to increase the number and standard of professionally qualified managers.
The winner of this award will hold a volunteer position within CMI or the IC, and is someone who embodies CMI’s values and who help us to realise our vision of better led and managed organisations around the world.

How to nominate
Nominations for the Volunteer of the Year award can be put forward by individuals or you can nominate someone who deserves recognition for their impact for the CMI community.
Criteria
We want to recognise people committed to the cause of good management and leadership – and who live this through their voluntary activity. Candidates will need to show commitment, enthusiasm, dedication, leadership and impact – and be clearly aligned to CMI’s mission of increasing the number and standard of professionally qualified managers and leaders.

Award Process
The Awards process goes through multiple phases to determine our shortlist, longlist and winners. Each stage of the process is supported by our experienced judges against a set criteria.
Judging
The CMI Awards receive entries from a diverse range of organisations and individuals across various sectors and fields. To ensure that our judges are able to reflect this diversity, we carefully select individuals who are experts in their respective fields and have a wealth of experience.
